More about Brooke

I grew up in Liberty, MO and then made my way to Mizzou for college where I studied Communication and Music. After graduation I married my husband Josh, an educator and basketball coach, who inspired me to go back to school and earn my Master’s of Education in Counseling. We’ve been on a journey working in public schools around the state ever since. After 10 years of life without kids we welcomed our son, Lincoln and a few years later our daughter, Charlotte which prompted a move back to the Kansas City area. Music has always been a passion and something I have participated in various roles at every church I have attended. We came to Athens in 2021 and I took the role of Director of Worship Arts in 2025. It truly has been a blessing to worship and make music with the amazing people of Athens KC! When not working as a High School Counselor or singing and playing percussion here, you will usually find me in the bleachers at a basketball game, ubering my kids to all the things or enjoying friends, family time at home or planning our next travel adventure!
